HP Launches its new line of ’Jet Fusion’ 3D Printers in India in order to expand its 3D printing portfolio in the country. The company introduced the first 3D printer that would help Small-medium businesses (SMBs) and beginners to produce economic functional parts.
HP Jet Fusion 540 is a monochrome printer and 580 is colored 3D printers that will be readily available for Rs. 1 crore and Rs. 1.5 crore, resp. Both of the models can be ordered now and their shipping will start from April.
According to Rob Mesaros, the head of 3D Printing & Digital Manufacturing services of HP’s Asia-Pacific and Japan said in his statement that the company is committed to transforming $6 trillion manufacturing industries across Asia. He further added that they are putting their emphasis on building most advanced 3D printing solution to produce widest possible outputs with affordable 3D platform producing functional parts for SMBs.
This new series is an advanced version of already existing "Jet Fusion 4200/4210 3D" printers especially designed for Industrial grade customers ensuring lowest cost/part suiting every business’s manufacturing environments.
According to Sumeer Chandra, the Managing Director of HP India division, using their cutting-edge technology, engineers get the strength to reimagine products, use low-cost parts, and remove the drawbacks of old manufacturing machines.
The new series of ‘Jet Fusion ‘ 3D printing solution will support leading color file formats, that will help the designers to produce parts without any hassle of file conversion or data corruption.
HP Jet Fusion 340/380 series is basically for customers whose per build capacity for parts is fewer. HP Jet Fusion 500 series is for heavier parts.
Last year, HP Introduced "Multi Jet Fusion" 3D printing solution starting from Rs. 2.5 crore in India. In our country, Manufacturing constitutes 18 % of the GDP and the Indian government is trying hard to push it to 25%.
