Content streamlining market is growing at a faster rate. To keep itself in-line with the latest trends and technology, Apple has come forward to launch its "Apple TV" channel on a renowned content sharing platform, YouTube.
According to reports, Apple's channel on Google’s YouTube is mainly designed for TV app of iPhone-makers in order to offer trailers, comments, interviews, short clips and highlights of videos showcasing efforts of the company in releasing original content like previews of Apple TV+ trailer and Carpool Karaoke.
No video on this Apple TV channel will have advertisements that means, viewers can enjoy content without irritating themselves with the silly advertisements that keep bothering them while they are watching TV. It is quite strange that the new channel will promote Apple TV service and videos to some extent but it will not show the service's app.
Behind the scenes, commentary, clips, and interviews that are available on Apple TV's channel on YouTube are currently not available on the Apple TV app, exclusively on YouTube. Likewise, some trailers on YouTube aren’t available in the TV app and unreleased films and shows wont exist in the content database of the channel.
The Apple TV app will be launched in May and it will be launched as a part of tvOS 12.3 and iOS 12.3. Not only this, the company will launch its streaming service TV later in the running year. It would be interesting to see which type of content is available on the new channel.
