Apple is consistently bringing new products to lead the market with its high-tech power. This time the company is bringing back the iPad Air in its iPad line. On Monday, A California-based company ‘The Cupertino’ released all-new 10.5-inch iPad Air and an upgraded version of iPad mini model succeeding already existing iPad mini 4. The Cupertino-based company says that the all-new iPad model will have A12 Bionic chip and an advanced Retina display in addition to supporting Apple Pencil. iPad launched in 2018 and both iPad Pro models will still be available in the market but it seems that iPad mini 4 may run out of the market.
Price of iPad Air and iPad mini in India this year
The price of iPad Air starts from $499 for the Wi-Fi only model and Wi-Fi + Cellular model will be available for $629. iPad mini, on the other hand, starts at $399 (Wi-Fi only model) and the Wi-Fi + Cellular model will be available for $529.
In India, the price of iPad Air model will start from Rs. 44,900 for the Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular variant will be available for Rs. 55,900. iPad mini, on the other hand, Wi-Fi only model will be available for Rs. 34,900 and Wi-Fi + Cellular model will be available for Rs.45,900. Both models will be available in classy and elegant silver, space grey and gold colors in 64GB and 256GB storage variants.
Specifications of iPad Air and iPad mini
10.5 inches LED Backlight Retina display of iPad Air with 1668x2224 p resolution will be driven by A12 Bionic chip, 8MP rear camera with five-element lens. 7MP front shooter supporting Retina flash. Can be connected via Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), Bluetooth 5.0, and optional LTE, and Touch ID support are some of the salient features of this new model that make it worth buying.
iPad mini, on the other hand, will have 7.9-inch LED-backlit Retina display offering clear picture at a resolution of 1536x2048 p. Rest of the specifications of this device are almost similar to iPad Air.
